Electrical installation work

The electrical installation work is a set of works aimed at creating a single functioning power supply system at a particular site. It is the second stage following the design of the electrical network; a stage that is purely practical and therefore no less important. High-quality, professional installation implies the use of reliable materials with mandatory compliance with all prescribed technical standards. It guarantees a long, trouble-free operation of both the network itself and the electrical devices connected to it.
How it's done
Installation work is carried out by the contractor in a predetermined sequence.

Initial analysis of the power grid project:

familiarisation of the contractor's engineers with the available design documentation - upon submission by the client;
verification of actual compliance with the design layout of network lines and nodes at the site - with on-site visit of the master;
general check of the estimate - in accordance with the design solutions and real tasks.

If the design of the electrical network of the facility was carried out by a contractor (ordering a full range of works) - the initial analysis stage is levelled.

Preparation of materials, preparation of work schedule.

In agreement with the customer, the necessary materials (supply and group cabling, node and end components, other equipment) either

are purchased by the contractor himself;
are purchased from suppliers specified by the customer;
are provided by the customer.

The schedule of works available in the project is finally agreed with the customer.

The actual installation works.

The contractor's specialists carry out the necessary actions:

tracing of power lines at the object;
marking the locations of key nodes and end-use points;
cutting of the so called "cable ducts" (technological channels for cable laying) or
cable pulling through existing technological channels or
cable laying on the external surface of walls, ceilings, floors;
installation of wiring products, lighting and technological equipment;
installation of distribution devices, power control and metering devices, etc.

Grounding and equipotential bonding of the network and, if necessary, lightning protection of the facility must be provided.

Pre-commissioning, acceptance testing

A full range of works is performed, including inspection, adjustment and testing of electrical equipment to ensure its design parameters and modes.
The insulation of cable lines is checked, protection apparatuses are loaded and tested, resistance of earthing devices and transient resistances of earthed elements are measured.

delivery-acceptance of the project

After the comprehensive testing of the electrical installation, as well as the receipt of the certificate of authorization for operation, the works acceptance certificates stipulated in the contract are signed.
Advantages of professional work

All actions are carried out only by qualified specialists with considerable experience, with confirmed certificates for this type of activity. The presence of persons "from outside" is excluded.
Only quality materials from proven manufacturers are used. If the contractor is responsible for the procurement of materials, he is responsible for the quality of materials.
The work is performed by the contractor from start to finish - within the limits stipulated by the contract. The customer does not need to control the execution of each stage; nevertheless, there is a possibility to do so at each stage. Moreover, at the customer's request, operational changes can be made at any stage of the installation of the electrical network, such as the installation of additional consumption points, etc.
In the process of installation works, the contractor takes into account the specifics of the wall material and design features of the rooms - to preserve the overall aesthetics of the object;
The contractor provides a guarantee for all works performed; in case of a separate agreement, the customer's specialists carry out further maintenance of the electrical network of the object on a permanent basis.
